Charity Hair cut!

I’m pleased to present our first sign of positivity during the pandemic and its a charity hair cut. It’s important to remember the true spirit of people and their ability to work towards a greater goal – others.

When I contacted Emily about this event, she was only to happy to share details so here we go.

Emily Scriminger-Faulkner is 22 years old and works for the NHS Property Services in Lincolnshire. She is currently studying for a psychology degree but also busy raising a toddler, 2 dogs and dabbling in modelling too (very good too).

Emily wanted to do something to raise awareness of her chosen charity and pay tribute to her wonderful grandma Daphne, who passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 2012.

During April 2020 she came up with the idea of a sponsored head shave to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The charity provide care for those affected and their families, so do amazing work.

The event

On the 1st May 2020 and the height of the pandemic, Emily was brave and even videoed the full event. Here is a link to her video.

Emily managed to raise £372 for this cause and well done to the 26 people donors. This does show despite the hardships people still follow a good cause and are willing to help. I have personally worked with Emily on a few photoshoots and she has a lovely character, we had lots of fun on our shoots.

If you would like to donate here is the link.
